The College Clarity Program

Helping Teens Find Direction Before Choosing a College

A guided experience for sophomores and juniors to gain clarity, confidence, and direction before the pressure of college applications takes over.

"If every conversation about college ends in silence or an argument,

this programme was built for exactly that moment."

The call no parent wants to receive

These are the words parents are afraid to hear. They are not rare. They are happening every semester at college or university.

"I hate it here."

"I don't know why I'm here."

"I don't think college is for me."

"I want to come home."

The College Clarity Program = Decision Insurance

Most families don’t realize this until it’s too late.

College decisions aren’t just academic.

They’re financial.

They’re emotional.

They shape identity.

And for most families, they're the source of an argument that makes everyone dread sitting at the dinner table.

When a teen enters college without clarity, the consequences are real.

Not hypothetical. Not rare.

Real and expensive.

Who This Program Is For

  • Sophomores and juniors

  • Students who feel unsure, overwhelmed, or pressured about college

  • High-achieving teens who “do everything right” but feel unsure of their direction

  • Parents who want their teen to talk to them and choose a college with intention not fear.

  • Parents who want their teen to be happy in their next chapter of life.

What Your Teen Walks Away With

"At the end of the program, your teen doesn’t just “know more.”

They will leave with:

  • Clear direction based on who they actually are as a person not pressure or trends

  • Language to explain why their path fits them

  • Confidence in their decision-making

  • A framework they can use for life’s hard choices

And parents walk away with:

  • Relief

  • Fewer arguments

  • A teen that confides with them again

  • Less tension in the house

  • Confidence they didn’t push their child down the wrong path

What Parents Are Actually Investing to Avoid

Parents don’t enroll because this program is “nice to have.”

They enroll because they want to avoid:

  • Changing majors

The average major change costs $10,000–$20,000 per switch and many students switch more than once.

  • A disengaged freshman year

When students feel unsure or misaligned, grades drop. Confidence fades. Motivation disappears.

  • The failure-to-launch spiral

Confused majors often turn into confused graduates back home, stuck, anxious, and unsure of next steps.

  • Years of pressure-filled conversations

Second-guessing. Arguing. Emotional exhaustion for both parent and teen.

The Assessment That Sets This Program Apart

At the core of College Clarity is a science-based assessment used globally for career development and performance prediction. Unlike basic interest quizzes, this evaluation goes deep, measuring how your teen thinks, what environments help them thrive, and what kinds of work will genuinely sustain them.

This is what the College Clarity Program is preventing before it starts.

Michelle did an absolutely fantastic job helping my son after he graduated college. He was lacking confidence, confused and frustrated about how to move forward after full-time education. After just a couple of sessions I could already see a huge change in his motivation. By the end of his coaching he was working, he was far more confident, and taking control of issues I never even expected the sessions to touch. It turned his life around completely. As a parent, it was so frustrating not knowing how to help him. In the end, my job was simply to find the right person when I couldn't be that person myself."

Common Questions

Answering What You're Actually Thinking

Most parents who find this page have already tried everything they can think of and most of them have hit a wall.

Why is this program any different?

Here is what you need to know.

My teen won't engage with this either. I've already tried everything.

Most of the teens who enroll in The College Clarity Program have already checked out of every adult-led conversation about their future. That's not a problem here, it's actually the point. When a young person realizes that someone is working with them, not reporting back to their parents, something shifts. Michelle has spent 18 years teaching teenagers and getting them to engage with material they didn't think they cared about. Getting them in the room is your job. Getting them to stay is hers.

Who is Michelle and why is she qualified to work with my teen?

Michelle Hibbert spent 18 years as a K–12 teacher across the UK and US, has trained teachers internationally through the International Baccalaureate for 12 years, and holds a life coaching certification. She has a 90% success rate with her teen and emerging adult clients. She is not neutral about young people's futures, she is invested in them, and she will tell your teen the truth in a way they can actually hear it.

What is the difference between in-person and online ?

These are genuinely different experiences built for different types of learners. The 2-Day In-Person format is best for teens who do better with face-to-face accountability and benefit from a clear start-and-finish experience. The 8-Week Online format is best for teens who need flexibility or who are balancing a busy school schedule. The weekly format builds reflection time between sessions. If you're not sure which experience is right for your teen, book a strategy call and Michelle can help you decide.

What if I still have questions before enrolling?

That’s exactly what the strategy call is for.
We’ll answer anything about the program, understand your teen’s situation, and help you decide if this is the right next step no pressure, just clarity.

The Real Cost of Inaction

Most parents will spend:

  • $25,000–$80,000 per year on college

  • Thousands on test prep

  • Thousands on a college counselor

  • Hundreds on campus visits

  • Countless hours worrying

The College Clarity Program exists to prevent:

  • Wasted tuition

  • Lost confidence

  • Emotional burnout

  • Costly course corrections later

  • College transfers
